This marks the end of my journey about the Egyptian protests.
I hope that the new democratic government will help the Egyptians both socially and economically.
Despite the fall of Mubarak, they have an uncertain future as there is currently no government in power.
This means that a transitional government is required to handle the change from the regime to a free, democratic government, of course with the assistance of the Egyptian military.
I feel that this eases tensions around the world as important sources of natural gas and oil can be found in Egypt, and may be restricted from being exported by the regime, which will cost an increase in the price of oil.
However, all this is over, which means oil-guzzling nations such as China can sigh in relief as the oil is free for export when the new government comes into power.
I can also heave a sigh of relief as the event ends the day before I do my presentation on this topic!
I wish the Egyptians the best of luck in their quest for democracy.

Next update!
The Chinese government has restricted news and discussion on the Egyptian unrest.
http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/Asia/Story/STIStory_630333.html
What does this mean? Is the Chinese government afraid that it will have to face a similar situation?
This crisis that is Egypt continues, with the rest of the world watching. We don't know how this will end out, and this may cause a massive problem in terms of the world's oil supply and natural gas supply ( Tee Yang? )

Following this chain of events, it is possible that this conflict will be ending quite soon.
I hope this will end soon as it may result in the end of the Jasmine revolution in Tunisia and establish order in Egypt.
How may this affect us?
The answer is simple; oil.
Without oil, basically, the world is doomed.
Egypt is also a major supplier of liquified natural gas.
Which goes to show, the Middle East is an important place.
Will continue to update until next Monday, which is presentation day.

Presentation
Hello!
Welcome to my blog.
This blog is created to facilitate a presentation on the present protests for a new government in Egypt and the other Middle-Eastern nations.
Why are these protests happening?
This is likely due to the oppressive governments that rule the Middle-Eastern nations.
For example, in response to the anti-government protests, state forces in Algeria and Yemen responded with deadly force.

Video of protests in Yemen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGXj6cWpUhQ
In Egypt, government forces also used deadly force on protesters, already killing at least 13 protesters in Suez.

Video of aftermath of protests: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDPyWLX04Kc&feature=channel
Video of protests: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIMu2sl7q24&feature=related
Why is all this happening? Some say it is the result of the economy.
Even as the revenue of Egypt increases, citizens are unable to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
About 20% of Egyptian live below the poverty line, this is more than what of Tunisia, a less prosperous nation.
Source link: http://edition.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/africa/01/27/egypt.tunisia.compare/
These protests and the irresponsible and violent retaliation of Egyptian state forces result in dozens of casualties among protesters.
Source links: http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/World/Story/STIStory_629824.html
http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/World/Story/STIStory_629594.html
So what has these protests resulted in? Firstly, the resignation of the Egyptian government.
Source link: http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/World/Story/STIStory_629604.html
It has also generated quite a lot of worldwide interest, resulting in Egyptian-Canadians gathering outside their embassy in Canada to show their support.
Source link: http://www.news1130.com/news/local/article/176171--local-egyptian-canadians-gather-to-show-their-support-for-protestors-in-egypt
As of now, the 29th of January 2011, protests have continued after a overnight government curfew, with the military taking control of security but using a non-aggressive posture.
Source link: http://www.monstersandcritics.com/news/middleeast/features/article_1615523.php/Egypt-Crisis-Pictures-January-29th
In my opinion, the anti-government protesters are somewhat correct in a way that the government does not allow the money to go to the citizens of these Middle-Eastern countries.
However, the government may have its reasons for not allowing the money to flow to the people. They may need to increase spending on certain sectors, such as military, etc etc.
When will this violence end? How many more have to die to create peace? We can only wait and see.
